I love photographing weddings in Chicago.
There’s just something about this city that is so unique and unlike any other city in the world. The food, the culture, the views – it’s all incredible. Perhaps that’s why Corin and Scott decided to hold their wedding in Chicago?
The Dress.
Corin’s wedding dress was by far one of the most beautiful and coolest wedding dresses I’ve ever seen. It was so incredibly stylish and fun! I loved photographing it. It’s as if the dress had a life of its’ own and was a main player in the wedding day. Such a gorgeous dress! See for yourself!
Planning was provided by Paris Events, and with Niki at the helm, the entire day was incredibly smooth. Plenty of time to capture gorgeous portraits as you’ll see below and a perfectly executed ceremony and reception!
I am often asked about my ‘style’ – it’s a bit of a trick question because wedding days require not just one style. As the photographer there are moments where couples need direction and there are moments where a photojournalistic approach is required. I was very happy to a nice amount of time to spend with Corin and Scott taking photos around Chicago (too often wedding portraits are rushed and stressful).
The entire wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Photographing Corin and Scott’s Chicago wedding was a joy and I wish them an amazing life together! Cheers to Corin and Scott!
