Zubair proposed to Nam just a short while before we started our session, huge congrats to them! We toured the grounds around the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum and even explored a small part of Soldier Field. Zubair met Nam in high school and they have been together ever since. She is a nurse now – which is awesome because the world can always user more compassionate people – and he is about to get his undergrad in aerospace and mechanical engineering, very cool stuff!
The area around Solidarity Drive is extremely fun to shoot it allows me to experiment and explore – something I love doing with couples on engagement sessions. I’d much rather explore and create unique photos instead of having a ‘must have’ list from a couple – it’s just not how I work.
Zubair and Nam were extremely fun to photograph and I really enjoyed getting to know them. Cheers to them!
