It’s easy to be in front of a camera when you’re having fun. At least that’s how I approach my Chicago engagement sessions. 99% of my couples have never been professionally photographed before so I always assume they have some angst about the process. It’s super important to me that my couples are at ease and have a great time during our sessions – and that comes from making a solid and real connection. I don’t want to say I ‘love’ my clients – because I try to reserve the use of love for my wife and kids – but I really like my clients. Megan and Andy are no exception – I really liked hanging out and photographing them. Both of them are fun, outgoing and very upbeat – even at 6:30 in the morning. We got pretty silly during their session – as you’ll see. We also visited North Avenue Beach, Lincoln Park Zoo and the Chicago bridges. Right away I could tell how into each other they are – which I dig. They are literally head over heals with each other! I know they are going to have a spectacular wedding and an awesome life together. That’s the point after all, isn’t it? To be awesome together!
