It’s hard to put into words what happens during a sunrise session. The way the light wraps around the couple as they have their photos taken at 5:30 in the morning. Keep in mind wakeup time is usually at 4am for these sessions. Don and Mikayla did amazing and I really enjoyed my time with them.
Part of the goal of an engagement session is for everyone to get to know each other and ensure everyone vibes. The vibes were perfect here and I can say without a doubt that Dom and Mikayla are made for each other. They’re smart, funny, witty and extremely personable. They can hold their own in any conversation, no matter the topic.
The results of the session, no doubt, speak for themselves and I like to focus a few layers deeper – getting to know the real people in front of my lens. Because when a couple decides to spend their life together – it’s almost poet – the course of their life changes and that’s where the real magic is. Yes you were two individual but now you’re together and what is the best you that you’re bringing to the other person. Investing in a real relationship with my couples is key for me to be able to get close and make everyone feel comfortable so we all have fun.
