Chrissy + Paul’s engagement session was pretty amazing. They wanted their engagement photos in Chicago because it’s pretty special to them in more ways than one. I could see right away how personable both of them were, easy to talk to and fun to be around. Most importantly, they have an amazing connection that’s easy to bring out in front of the camera. After chatting about how they met and what their plans were – our conversations took a rollercoaster ride into some hilarious topics. Soon after the sunrise session started, the three of us realized how hungry we were (when you start shooting at 6:30 AM – there is not much time for breakfast). We went and grabbed a bite, then explored the new Chicago riverwalk. By then it seemed like I was hanging out with old friends rather than two strangers I met only two hours ago.
