Kristen and Jeff had planned on a much bigger wedding but the universe had other plans. They opted for a small and intimate ceremony and hangout in their backyard with their closest friends and family just outside Chicago. It was INCREDIBLE! Absolutely no stress, everyone just hung out and chilled, some people played bags others sipped their drinks while hanging out.
Chairs were set up and the ceremony begun and turned into an incredibly meaningful and emotional wedding. People cried as Kristen and Jeff spoke their vows, exchanged rings and took their first kiss as a married couple. Everyone hung out some more, we took some pictures of family and portraits of the couple and everything was simply beautiful.
Life sometimes throws you massive curveballs and you have to be able to pivot and adjust your plans. This is exactly what this couple and their families did – and they did it with style and grace. It may not have been their original dream wedding, but it was amazing!
