There’s something to know about Corie and Jordan – they’re really great people. The kind you can chat with or share a beer with and I’ve done both.
They had a pretty great wedding ceremony at St. James Chapel and a reception at the legendary Drake Hotel in Chicago.
There are many things I like about photographing weddings – one is that I am able to witness and document change. When two people wed, their lives change forever and you can see the precise moment when their lives took a new course. To me this is an amazing thing to photograph and I do it because it’s worth remembering.
So if you ask me ‘was Corie and Jordan’s wedding at the Drake Hotel epic?’ – Yes, yes it was. It was epic and beautiful and meaningful and that’s worth sharing. Corie and Jordan invited me to sit with them and their families at the bar after the wedding was over and it was so cool to get to know their families a bit more and they’re all wonderful.
