I met Jenna and Ben when I photographed Kelly and Mike’s wedding in Cleveland two years ago. It was so good to see these friends again and create new wonderful memories!

By the time Jenna and Ben’s wedding rolled around we had a really amazing and trusting relationship – to me, relationships come first. It’s why I’m able to tell these very intimate stories – because my couples trust me and they’re invested in the process of creating amazing photos and capturing memories.
I knew the Club at Hillbrook was nice, but I had no idea how truly incredible it really was. Being a Chicago wedding photographer I did my research online and the photos do not do it justice. This place is so amazing – with so much history and texture. It’s like you can feel the conversations that take place in these halls. It was an ideal venue for Jenna and Ben because it really speaks to their personalities and integrity as people and friends. Everyone who spoke at their reception talked about how honorable Ben is and how dedicated and caring Jenna is – this is all true and it’s worth noting they’re both VERY funny. It’s infectious and pretty soon you’re laughing with them. It’s who they are and I’m humbled and honored to have documented their wedding. I feel (again) as if I’ve gained two amazing friends. And, though they don’t live in Chicago anymore, I hope to see them soon.
